DONATIONS
1.
Why should I donate to TFSC?
Drug and alcohol abuse is a serious threat to our community as an estimated 1 in 5 individuals between the ages of 16 and 59 has used illicit drugs. In our nation, approximately 22 million Americans suffer from substance abuse or dependency issues. Of those, only 2.5 million are receiving treatment or care. More than ever, the abuse of illicit drugs such as methamphetamines, marijuana, cocaine, and heroin plagues our streets, and for some of us the threat can be found in our very own homes.
This issue touches all of our lives whether or not we personally know someone suffering from addiction, or we live in a neighborhood where drug dealing is happening right outside our doors. It’s a problem in our homes, schools, neighborhoods and community at large. The economic cost of alcohol and drug abuse accounts for increased healthcare costs, decreased work-place productivity, and increases in crime rates. With your help we can improve lives, rebuild families and make real changes happen in our community.
2.
