What will your donation buy?
$5 Will buy coffee for clients in one of our facilities for one day.
$25 Will buy one individual substance abuse counseling for one week.
$100 Will supply 60 clients with basic necessary hygiene products for one week.
$250 Will pay for the fuel needed to transport 30 clients for their treatment for one week.
Immediate Need
$500 Will purchase one commercial size refrigerator used to house food for our weekly foodbank. Due to the heat during the summer, TFSC is currently in need of three industrial size refrigerators.
Of course, donations of any size, make a difference. Even the smallest contribution will make an impact. Whether it's through our substance abuse treatment, foodbank, or youth tutoring, every gift counts.
Why give?
Total Family Support Clinic has a lot do. Donations make it all possible. Thousand of individuals depend on our services. Through our foodbank alone, 1,500 families receive food monthly.
Our Clients
Many of our clients survive on extremely limited incomes and assistance. It is not uncommon for a client to walk in through our doors, needing treatment, a bit of food or a change of clothes. But it's not possible without supporters. With your donation we can continue to provide a safe haven for the most vulnerable individuals in our community.
The Need
Statistics, show that substance abuse impacts our homes, neighborhoods, schools, communities, and our economy. The LA County Department of of Public Health reports that in California, alcohol abuse alone costs the state $38 billion in losses per year. In Los Angeles County, the costs are estimated at $10.8 billion.
Programs like TFSC help alleviate the problem. More than half of clients enrolled in our substance abuse program remain clean for a period of six months while in treatment.
