PERI-NATAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES
The Treatment Model.
Our treatment program is based on the Matrix Model, which promotes a structured treatment experience. Individuals enrolled in treatment services are provided with the necessary structure, information and support they need to abstain from substance abuse and establish long-term sobriety and recovery.
Assessment.
We offer outpatient substance abuse treatment tailored to the individual’s needs. The length of the program is determined through an assessment conducted by our highly qualified intake staff trained at providing case management services. An individualized treatment plan is developed for that is typically divided into three eight-week phases.
Treatment.
This gender-responsive program incorporates vital drug education, health education and parenting skills in one comprehensive program geared towards providing pregnant and new mothers with long-term sobriety, while promoting a healthy pregnancy and vital parenting skills. We also provide referral services to vital programs to support the individual, including free and low cost medical and pre-natal care, social service programs, housing resources and employment resources.
Our intensive treatment program consists of a minimum of six hours of direct treatment services in the form of group and individual counseling sessions, where personal issues pertaining to the substance abuse issues may be discussed confidentially. Our program also offers mandatory random monitored urine testing throughout treatment or when substance abuse is suspected to ensure the individual is maintaining sobriety during treatment. To enhance the treatment process and include the family unity, family support groups and educational workshops are available throughout treatment to family members.
After-Care.
Once an individual graduates from our program, we continue to participate in the recovery process by continuing contact with the individual, the individual's healthcare providers, and even the individual’s mentors and sponsors. Our after-care services include weekly group meetings, and alumni monthly meetings.
