ANGER MANAGEMENT AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAM

We offer an Anger Management and Domestic Violence program that focuses on helping individuals who are seeking voluntary or court-ordered services address the causes and consequences of their anger and violent behaviors. Our program combines individual counseling and small group settings to help individuals find alternatives to coercive, dominating and violent behavior in any intimate relationships.

Anger Management. We offer Anger Management classes to provide education and skills training for individuals who need to learn how to manage their anger-induced reactions and responses in a more positive way. We focus on educating individuals on how to respond rather than react to potentially provocative individuals and situations.

Domestic Violence.  We offer a Domestic Violence program to both individuals who are victims of and perpetrators to Domestic Violence. Our program focuses on educating individuals about abuse & aggressive behaviors, intimidation; emotional abuse; isolation; shifting of responsibilities through minimization, denying, and blaming; children; gender privileges; economic abuse; and coercions through threat. Upon re-evaluation of personal behaviors, individuals are educated on alternative non-violence behaviors including non-threatening behaviors, respect, trust, support, honesty, accountability, responsible parenting, shared responsibilities, economic partnership, negotiation and fairness.

Support Services are available including Parenting Classes, Family Counseling, Substance abuse treatment services and resources and referrals.

Our Anger Management & Domestic Violence program meets the requirements necessary to fulfill Court-Ordered Anger Management or Domestic Violence classes.
